Missions Month 2026

Finding the one. It describes what your generosity is doing right now in places you may never visit, for people whose names you may never know.

In the parable, the shepherd left the ninety-nine sheep to find the one that wandered and became lost. The math does not make sense. The risk is not reasonable. But that is simply what love does. It goes. It seeks. And it does not stop until it finds.

Reaching People in Honduras

John Agee’s path to faith began in the mission field, where a call to Honduras took root in his heart even before he became a believer. Seeing how the locals view arriving missionaries as a direct answer to prayer, John experiences the presence of the Holy Spirit through the people he goes to serve.

Reaching Foster Children

Dennis Woodley spent years working in the prison system, witnessing firsthand the tragic pipeline from foster care to incarceration. Moved to intervene and guided by James 1:27, he now volunteers with The Champion Project to mentor youths and run The Book Bus. By giving vulnerable children a safe space to just be kids and sharing essentials like a Bible and journal, Dennis reflects the unconditional love of Jesus — reminding them that they are deeply valued and loved.

Reaching People at Rock Bottom

Danny knows what it’s like to reach rock bottom. Raised in a loving Christian home, he lost his way as a teenager and fell into isolation and addiction — until he met God’s love at his lowest point. Through Rock Bottom Hope, he now helps others break free and find healing in Jesus.

Ana Vargas believes that as followers of Jesus, we are called to serve our neighbors with the love of Christ, no matter where they are from. As the program director at ConNEXT Steps, she welcomes families from around the world to the Creekside community, using language classes as a bridge to share the life-changing truth of the gospel.

Satellite technology operates beyond the bounds of censorship and monitoring. Partners like SAT-7 deliver theological education and the message of salvation to new Christians in closed areas, where gathering as a Christian community is often impossible.

Helping Through Finances

As a case manager with the Society of St. Stephen, Libby Pike steps in to help individuals and families navigating financial crises. Rather than simply give them money, she empowers them to better manage their resources, witnessing firsthand how God uses moments of hardship to deepen the faith of both the recipient and the giver.

Helping Through Service

Gary Hill and the Geezer Squad give up their time each week to build wheelchair ramps and handle home safety projects for those in need. Driven by a shared commitment to service above self, these men allow God to move their hearts to step in wherever help is needed, leaving both them and the families with a powerful sense of His goodness at work.

Helping Through Building

Andrew Chang felt a personal nudge from God to join a men’s trip to Honduras. His group built three walls of a church — an experience that pushed him physically and deepened his walk as he reflected on Christ’s sacrifice.
