We will fly via United Airlines from Bush International Airport to Palmerola International Airport, in Comayagua, Honduras. We will be transported via ground transportation to the mission house in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Yes, you will need a passport that does not expire within 6 months from the date of your return. There is no visa required, however, three days before the trip you will need to complete both the Honduras Immigration Pre-check and Custom Declaration online. Instructions for completing these documents online will be given closer to the departure date.
The minimum age requirement is 18 by the date the trip leaves. A 16- or 17-year-old can join if a parent is traveling with the team.
Team members stay in bunk houses
At the Mission House, kitchen staff will prepare and serve buffet-style meals for breakfast and dinner and prepare lunches for teams to eat at the Serve Team site. Please let us know of any dietary needs when prompted on the trip registration form.
