The Brookwood Community
Founded in 1983, Brookwood is a God-centered non-profit residential and vocational community for adults with disabilities located in Brookshire, Texas. Brookwood strives to change the way the world thinks about adults with disabilities.
Brookwood the Woodlands
Brookwood the Woodlands is a day-work program for adults with special needs. An extension of The Brookwood Community, Brookwood the Woodlands meets on the main campus of The Woodlands Methodist Church. Brookwood’s work program meets Monday- Thursday 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM in the Special Needs Area of Loft.
Becoming a Brookwood Citizen
Brookwood the Woodlands operates independently of The Woodlands Methodist Church and follows the Brookwood Community’s admission process. Intake and program participation are Brookwood’s to determine.
