We’ll meet at local homes or spots around Montgomery to grill, hang out, and build brotherhood over great meat and meaningful conversation. Just food, fellowship, and time together.

Fire up your best recipe and bring the competition! This month’s Men’s Meat Up is an Amateur Chili & BBQ Cook-Off, bringing guys, families, and the community together for great food, friendly competition, and meaningful fellowship.
Think your ribs are unbeatable? Got a chili recipe that deserves some bragging rights? Bring your prepared contest entry, show off your skills, and see how your favorite recipe stacks up against the competition!
Men can compete for bragging rights in four categories:
- Ribs
- Chicken
- Chili
- Open Division — Bring your signature specialty!
How It Works
Prepare your competition entry ahead of time wherever your comfortable and bring it ready for judging. Come ready to share your best dish, connect with other guys, and enjoy some friendly competition!
ALSO everyone’s invited to taste what been made!!!
After judging family, friends, neighbors, and fellow BBQ lovers are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of tasting, fellowship, and community. So whether you’re entering the cook-off or just coming to taste, there’s a place for you at the table!
Event Schedule
*1:00 PM* — Competitor Arrival & Entry Check-In
1:30 PM — Cook-Off Entries & Judging Begin
1:30–3:00 PM — Public Tasting & Fellowship
3:00 PM — Closing Prayer
Competitors, please plan to arrive by 1:00 PM to check in and have your entries ready for judging.
