Each month, we will highlight one of these organizations, inviting you to support their incredible work.

JUNE | SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national nonprofit, with a local chapter in Montgomery County, dedicated to ending child bedlessness by building and delivering handcrafted beds to children and families who do not have a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

The mission of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is simply: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!”



MAY | LOVE HEALS YOUTH and LOVE FOSTERS HOPE

Love Fosters Hope’s mission is to provide transformative summer camps, year-round mentoring and practical support for young adults aging out of foster care. Love Heals Youth provides a counseling program for foster care youth to help them rewrite their trials and find freedom from.


APRIL | JOURNEY HOME

Journey Home provides safety and shelter to pregnant women experiencing homelessness. By providing housing, spiritual encouragement and practical support they empower women to live the lives God intended.


MARCH | ANGEL REACH

Angel Reach is a faith-based nonprofit organization that works with young adults ages 16-24 who have aged out of the foster care system and/or who are homeless.


FEBRUARY | JUBILEE AND KAIROS PRISON MINISTRIES

Jubilee and Kairos Prison Ministres share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families.


JANUARY | GOD’S GARAGE

God’s Garage is a Christ-centered nonprofit corporation dedicated to assisting single mothers, widows and wives of deployed military in need of reliable transportation.


DECEMBER | KIDS’ MEALS

The only program of its kind in the nation, Kids' Meals makes and delivers free, healthy meals directly to the homes of hungry children in Harris and Montgomery counties. Kids' Meals strives to help end the cycle of poverty. Find out how to get volunteer or support financially here
