Adults 55+ Ministry Trips

Our 55+ adults regularly take day trips to museums, concerts and other attractions in the nearby area. Transportation is provided and there is a fee for each event. Trips have included the following:

  • An Astros baseball game
  • Performances at Hobby Theater, A.D. Players and Stages Theater
  • A play at the Crighton Theater in Conroe
  • The International Quilt Festival in Houston
  • The Painted Churches in Schulenburg, Texas
  • A guided fishing excursion in Galveston

Occasionally, overnight trips are taken:

  • Overnight trips to San Antonio and Austin
  • A train tour of the Canadian Rockies
  • Week-long trips to the Nashville and the Smoky Mountains, Alaska Land and Cruise

September 8-16, 2027

2026 TRIP OPPORTUNITIES


DISCOVER AMERICA’S 250TH ANNIVERSARY

June 8-16, 2026

This is a nine-day guided tour. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, trace the story of the nation’s rise on a journey through Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Tour highlights include Lexington Battle Green, the Old North Bridge, and West Point Academy. In New York City, see Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial, St. Paul’s Chapel. Join us for an optional dinner and show at one of Broadway’s biggest hits: Hamilton! In Philadelphia, we will tour Independence Hall, the iconic Liberty Bell and en route to Washington, D.C. we will stop at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Tour the U.S. Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Visit Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington.

* The overall activity level of this tour is level 2. This means you like a balanced approach to travel. Walking two to three miles over the course of a day is no problem for you. You can climb two flights of stairs with ease. Expect some full days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own.

    TUSCANY, LAKE MAGGIORE, ITALIAN RIVIERA

    September 18-26, 2026

    This is a nine-day guided tour with an optional two-night Turin and Piedmont Wine Country pre-tour extension.

    Experience the romance of Italy’s lakes region, the colorful coast of the Italian Riviera and the rolling hills of Tuscany. Highlights include Lake Maggiore, Isola Bella Palace and Garden, Stresa Parma, Italian Riviera, Cinque Terre, Lucca, Tuscan villa stay, Florence, and the Chianti countryside.

    * The overall activity level of this tour is level 3. Italy imposes strict limit on tour bus circulation and mandatory drop-off and pick-up points especially in historic or protected areas. These areas require navigating large crowds, extensive walking over cobblestone, uneven and often narrow sidewalks and occasionally unpaved terrain with loose gravel. Transportation includes public trains and ferries, with no reserved seating, requiring you to stand and balance.
