Allen Hood (M.Div., Asbury Theological Seminary) served as associate director of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC) from 2000 to 2020. While there, he oversaw more than 500 full-time staff and served as president of the ministry’s Bible college from 2003 to 2016.

In December 2019, Allen founded the Excellencies of Christ Ministries, which exists to proclaim the excellencies of Christ to the ends of the earth, disciple the Church in the knowledge of God through courses, books, schools, media, and creative resources, and build communities of love for Jesus that contend in prayer for revival in the Church and awakening in society.

Allen lives in Port Saint Lucie, FL, with his wife, Rachel. He regularly travels, ministers, and consults with various ministries, local churches, and houses of prayer worldwide.
