ASH WEDNESDAY

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, the 40 days before Easter. The service for Ash Wednesday is a time when we begin a season of remembering the sacrifices of Christ on His journey to the cross and preparing our hearts for the journey toward Easter.

Join a traditional midday service, an evening modern service or a walk-through prayer experience. All conclude with the imposition of ashes.

This family-friendly walk-through experience includes six prayer stations and concludes with the imposition of ashes.

Spend time in fellowship together at a potluck followed by a time of worship and reflection.

COVENANT CHURCH AT CREEKSIDE

The Covenant English and Spanish communities will gather together in a time of bilingual worship and reflection, concluding with the imposition of ashes.

LENTEN ACTIVITY

Lenten Lectio Divina Contemplative Prayer Time: “Walking With Jesus – A Journey Through Luke”

We will journey through the Gospel of Luke using Lectio Divina — a time of holy reflection in God’s Word, prayer and Holy Communion each week. Registration not required.
